Dr Douglas Thomson
Qualifications MB, ChB, Glasgow University, Registered 1976.
Dr Thomson has a broad range of interests, he has a special interest in Medicine in the Elderly.
Dr David Disney
Qualifications MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DPD
Alongside my general skills as a GP I have special interests in the diagnosis and management of skin disease as well as minor surgery. I regularly see challenging patients in the practice most of whom I can care for without need to refer to hospital. I also have a leading role in the care of diabetic patients in the practice and work with colleagues to ensure the best possible care.
Dr Rod James
Qualifications MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, Sheffield University, Registered 1983
Dr James main interests are in children's health and he is involved in training medical students and GP Registrars. He works in all 3 surgeries including the University.
Dr Martin Keeling
Qualifications BSc, BmedSci, BM, BSm DRCOG, DCH, FRCGP
Dr Keeling joined the practice in 1987. He is a GP Trainer, GP undergraduate tutor and works for the PCT as a Quality Outcomes Framework Assessor. He has interests in teaching, audit, child health, palliative care and subfertility. His leisure activities include hockey coaching, contemporary music, reading and walking.
Dr Jane Rivers
Qualifications BPharm, MSc, MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, Leicester University,Registered 1984
Dr Rivers’ particular interests are in children’s and women’s health. Initially qualified as a pharmacist, followed by an MSc in pharmacotherapeutics. Dr Rivers also has a leading role in choosing the range of drugs used by the practice.
Dr Jonathan Cox
Qualifications BSc, MB, BChir, MRCGP, DRCOG, Cambridge University, Registered 1986
Dr Cox's main interests are in Diabetes, Asthma, Ear Nose and Throat problems as well as joint injections. Outside medicine he is a keen golfer and enjoys fine wines.
Dr Margaret Fieldhouse
Qualifications MBBS, MRCGP
Dr Fieldhouse has a special interest in paediatrics having worked for 8 years as a community paediatrician prior to being appointed as a partner at the practice in 1994. Dr Fieldhouse also takes several surgeries at our branch located at the University of Derby and enjoys her role there too.
Dr Andrea Stadtgen
Qualifications Final Medical State Exam in Germany 1993. MRCGP, DRCOG
Dr Stadtgen-Wicks has been working in the practice since August 1998 when she arrived as a GP registrar. Following her registrar year and GP qualification she continued to work for the practice as an employed GP. In October 2005 she became a part time GP Partner. Her interests include women's health, heart disease and mental health.
Dr Helen Hill
Qualifications BSc in pharmacology, MB BCh MRCGP, DRCOG
Dr Hill trained at the practice as a registrar and has continued to work here since then and became a partner in October 2005, working 3 days a week. She enjoys all aspects of her work and has interests in family planning and diabetes.
Dr Pauline Horry
Qualifications MBBS, MRCGP
Dr Horry qualified from Kings’ College Hospital, London in 1990. She works part-time and based at our Chaddesden Surgery.
Dr Paula Register
Qualifications BmedSCi, BMBS, DRCOG, DFP
Dr Register has an interest in children and Health Care of the Elderly.
Dr Rachel Burnett
Qualifications Bmed Sci, BMBS, DRCOG, MRCGP 2005
Dr Burnett did 2 years of hospital medicine before joining the practice as a Registrar and has stayed on as a GP assistant. Her areas of interest are Palliative Care and Women's Health.
